Munich - BMW is ending the production of the current Z4 convertible and coupe models at its US factory in Spartanburg by the end of August, Germany's auto-motor-sport magazine reported recently.The freed-up capacity at the Spartanburg factory would be used for the X5 and X6 model range, the magazine quoted a company spokesman as saying.
BMW is planning to produce the new 2009 model of the Z4 sports car at its Regensburg factory in southern Germany, the spokesman said.
